Open biscuit can and separate biscuits, breaking each one into four pieces. Dip each piece in melted butter, moistening all sides, then roll in sugar and place in prepared skillet or pan, arranging in a single layer. Top evenly with fruit. Sprinkle with nuts and dollop with cream cheese, if using. Bake 30 minutes until golden brown. Serve warm or let cool and store covered in fridge.
