Glaze used for Angel Food Cake
Melt butter in saucepan at low/med. heat. Add baking chocolate and stir until melted. Remove from heat. Blend in vanilla and sugar. Stir in water, 1 tablespoon at a time, until glaze is of proper consistency.
I use a wooden spoon to stir. You will find that the water is a little difficult to incorporate with each tablespoonful. That is normal. The glaze will become shiny when it's close to the correct consistency. At that point, lift spoonful from pan, tip and see if it will slowly flow from spoon in a smooth stream. Add small amounts of hot water until it does. If you end up with too much water, add more sugar a little at a time, stirring each time, until it's of correct consistency.
