Quick, basic, delicious
Pre-heat oven to 375
melt butter
brush top of filet with melted butter
sprinkle with salt and pepper (and capers and lemon if desired)
bake about 6-7 min on one side
flip salmon
brush the unseasoned side with butter and sprinkle with salt and pepper
bake another 6-7 min on new side.
Basic rule of thumb from what I gather is 10 min of bake time per 1 inch of thickness (at 375)
