Cut husked tomatillos in half and place cut side down on a cookie sheet
Husk 2-3 cloves of garlic and place on the cookie sheet
Broil tomatillos and garlic 6 inches from the top of the oven at 500 degrees for about 5 minutes, until tomatillos take on a yellowish color and tops are browned
Transfer roasted tomatillos and garlic to a blender, along with the other ingredients.
Blend on low until you've reached the desired consistency and then serve!
Optional: you can remove the seeds from the chiles for a mild sauce with great flavor, and you can also try adding 2 tsp of fresh squeezed lime juice
