Suggest a better description1) Place water, sugar, salt, egg, yeast into a mixing bowl.
2) Add 1 cup flour and beat for 2 min until fully hydrated.
3) Gradually add remaining flour.
4) Knead for 7 to 8 minutes.
5) Cover and let rise for 30 minutes.
6) Form into a dozen bagels.
7) Prepare a pot with 2 inches water and additional 2 tablespoons sugar and bring to a boil.
8) Boil bagels 3 minutes on each side.
9) Bake at 400° F for 25 minutes.
