Add olive oil to large saucepan and heat. Include garlic, onions, and sausage to the pan and cook until sausage has turned white/grey. A chili pepper can be added or spicy sausage can be used to give the dish some heat. Add salt and pepper to taste.
Once sausage is done add bowties and diced tomatoes. Fresh rosemary or tyme can be mixed into the pasta.Ensure all pasta is submerged and simmer while the pan is covered Until pasta softens.
Remove from heat and slowly stir in cream. Serve immediately with grated cheese if desired.
