A Bacon and Bourbon flavored BBQ sauce
Fry the bacon and chop/grind as finely as possible (try to make a bacon powder). Mix together all ingredients and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 1 hour 15 minutes, stirring frequently to avoid burning.
Makes 16oz and will last 1 week in the refrigerator or can it and it will last 1+ year.
