Beat eggs in a large bowl; stir in milk, salt, and mustard. Fold in bread cubes, cheddar cheese, and cooked and drained sausage into egg mixture.
Pour into lightly greased 7X11 inch baking dish. Cover and refrigerate for 8 hours or overnight.
Preheat oven to 350. Remove the casserole from the refrigerator 30 min before baking.
Bake until knife inserted near the center comes out clean, about 40 min.
