This recipe is one my stepdad used to make every Thanksgiving. Thank you, Del, for introducing me to Fried Egg sandwiches, the best grilled hamburgers I've ever had, fantastic steaks, and, of course, Sausage Balls. You are missed.
1. Preheat oven to 350ºF
2. Line 2 sheet trays with parchment paper and set aside
3. Mix all ingredients in a large bowl
4. From the mixture, form balls, roughly ping-pong or golf ball size, and place on sheet trays. There should be enough to have 4 rows per sheet tray with 4 balls in a row.
5. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes.
6. Makes 32 Sausage balls and a serving is 4 balls.
