This is a lovelly pie and very filling play around when adding potatoes as sometimes you may make too much
Peel 5 large potatoes and boil until cooked, once cooked drain the water from the pan, once drained return the potatoes back to the pan and add the butter and milk and mash them until all smooth
Roll Pastry out, then take the pie dish you will be using and cut two large circles around it, to make a bottom and lid for your pie.
In a mixing bowl, add hot water to sage and onion stuffing then add the sausage meat, mashed potatoe and mix until bound together
Line bottom of the pie dish with pastry then add filling. putlid on using egg white to seal the edges, and brush with egg yolk for goldenbrown top
Great with mashed potatoes and gravy
Once cooked your pie can be deep frozen for up to three months, Make sure you wrap it in foil before putting it in a freeze bag to keep it fresh
