1 Combine crushed tomatoes, oregano, and garlic powder in a bowl, and stir well. Set aside.
2 Bring a skillet sprayed with nonstick spray to medium-high heat.
3 Add onion and cook for 2 minutes.
4 Add bell peppers and continue to cook, stirring occasionally, for 2 to 4 minutes, until veggies are slightly softened.
5 Add sausage and cook for an additional 1 to 2 minutes, until heated.
6 Add tomatoes and stir. Once heated, season to taste with salt and black pepper (or not). Now chew!
HG Tip! If using frozen sausage, do not thaw completely. This will make it easier to slice.
