In a large bowl, combine sausage, crumbs, eggs onion and apple. Mix well and press into an angel food cake pan. Bake in a 350 degrees oven for 1 hour. Drain then invert onto a serving platter.
NOTE: To freeze, wrap cooked ring in foil. When ready to serve, defrost in foil and reheat in foil at 350 degrees. It will take 1 hour, but check, Freezes well.
