Panned sausages with creamed cabbage; coconut cream or fresh cream
Get the grill or the frying pan going and cook the sausage according to the instructions on the package.
Melt the butter in another frying pan on medium heat. Chop finely and saute the onion for 3 minutes. Add green cabbage and sauté for a few minutes until golden brown.
Add heavy whipping cream or coconut cream and let simmer until the cream is reduced. Lower the heat towards the end.
Salt and pepper to taste.
Add parsley and lemon zest before serving.
Delicious as it is or served with a salad. You can substitute the sausage with pastrami, smoked turkey or cold cuts.
