Suggest a better descriptionIn a small bowl, mix 1/4 cup wine and cornstarch
In a medium sauce pan, bring 1 cup of wine, sugar and vanilla bean to boil
Slowly whisk in cornstarch mixture into boiling wine
Remove from heat and set aside
In a medium skillet, melt butter over medium high heat
Saute strawberries for about 1 minute
Add wine sauce and pepper. Bring liquid to a boil - then simmer for 10 seconds
Serve with ice cream. Garnish with chocolate shavings
