Delicious pork dish cooked in the wok. This wonderful pork and gravy combination is served great over rice or noodles.
1) In a bowl, pour 3 tbsp soy sauce over pork.
2) On a plate, combine sugar and floor. Roll pork cubes in mixture until coated.
3) Pour oil into work and preheat to 325 degrees. Add half of pork and stir-fry for 3 minutes or until browned. Push browned pork up the sides of the wok and add the remaining pork. Stir-fry for 3 minutes.
4) Reduce heat to simmer and cover. Simmer for 30 minutes or until pork is fork tender.
5) Push pork up the sides. In a small bowl, combine cold water and cornstarch. Slowly stir into meat drippings in wok. Add remaining soy sauce. Cook slowly until mixture thickens.
6) Combine pork and walnuts with gravy in wok. Cook 3 minutes to combine. Set wok to warm. Serve with egg noodles, rice or mashed potatoes.
