Melt the 4 tablespoons of butter in Microwave add flour and salt - stir. Microwave 1 minute stir. add the onion stir and microwave 1 minute. While stirring slowly add 2 cups milk. Microwave 4 1/2 minutes -stirring every minute.
Layer corn with white sauce. Top with crushed crackers. Drizzle with melted butter.
Bake at 350 degrees for 1/2 to one hour.
