This is a family-sized recipe for a favorite vegetable.
Heat oven to 350 degrees. Saute onion in butter; blend in flour and seasonings. Cook until bubbly, then remove from heat. Gradually add milk, bring to boil. Boil for one minute, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Add corn and egg; pour into one-quart baking dish. Top with buttered crumbs. Bake for 20-30 minutes.
