Layer; 1/3 potatoes, 1/2 cheeses and onions. Repeat. End with potatoes. Dot with 1 tbsp. butter. Top with cream sauce.
Cook 1 hour at 350. Top with cheddar and cook for an additional 15 to 20 minutes.
