Oven baked goodness
SDpray pan with pan spray, and layer potatoes. pour half & half in sauce pan with bruised garlic bring cream to a scalled point then, Dilute cornstarch and add to cream . DO NOT THICKEN....... take off heat & let stand for 5 mins. Pour cream over potatoes, and press potatoes down until covered with cream. Cover with Parchment paper & aluminum foil . Bake for 30 mins or until potatoes are tender. Uncover and bake an additional 15 min until golden brown on top. Remove from oven and let stand for 1 hr. reheat before serving.
