Preheat oven to 220c fan force. Sprinkle flour over a flat baking tray.
Shift flour into a medium bowl. Add sugar, using your finger tips rub butter into the flour mixture until it resembles fine breadcrumbs.
Add milk, using a flat bladed knife to mix until dough begins to come together.
Flatten dough with the palm of your hand until it is 2cm thick ,use a 5cm cutter to cut out scones. Place into a baking try 1 cm apart.
Bake for 10-12 mins, until golden and cooked through.
Serve with jam & cream
