Seared Salmon with Balsamic Sauce - Diane salmon recipe
Whisk the vinegar, juice, honey, and pepper flakes together in a small bowl. Heat the oil in a 12 inch nonstick skillet over medium-high heat until smoking. Season the salmon w/ salt and pepper and cook, skin side up, without moving until browned, 4-5 min. Transfer to platter and tent with foil. Wipe out pan w/ paper towels and lower heat to medium. Carefully pour the balsamic mixture into the pan (it will splatter). Simmer until thick and syrupy about 5 min. Whisk in the butter, season the sauce w/ salt and pepper to taste, pour over salmon. I like to serve this with a green veggie and sweet potatoes. Hope you like, let me know!!
