1. Prepare potatoes:
- Cook potatoes in a microwave.
- Peel potatoes and mash with butter and milk.
- Season with salt and pepper.
2. Cook onions:
- Dice 2 onions.
- Saute in skillet until translucent, about 5 minutes.
- Spread onions evenly over bottom of a 9x13-inch baking dish.
3. Cook meat + veg:
- Place ground beef or turkey in the skillet and cook over medium-high heat until no trace of pink remains, about 5 minutes.
- Spoon off and discard any fat.
- Stir in 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce.
- Add vegetables and cook, stirring for 1 minute.
4. Assemble and bake:
- Spoon beef and veg onto onions in baking dish.
- Spread mashed potatoes over the beef, starting around the edges to create a seal to prevent the mixture from bubbling up and smooth.
- Sprinkle with salt and pepper and paprika and dot with butter.
- Bake until heated through, 10 minutes. (Most sites say 25-30 mins; or 350F for 30-35 mins).
