Saute carrots, onions, garlic and mushrooms in 2 T butter until soft. Add peas, wine and Worcestershire sauce. Spread in casserole pan.
Boil and mash potatoes. Add cream, butter, salt and pepper. Spread mashed potatoes over vegetables.
Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 30 minutes or until bubbling.
Optional: sprinkle shredded cheese on top and broil until melted and browned.
