1. ) Cook the bacon until crisp. Remove, drain on paper towel, and crumble.
2. ) Fill each mushroom cap with a little bacon and cottage cheese. Sprinkle with finely-chopped thyme.
3. ) Cook on top of a charcoal grill until done. If you are making the dish at home, bake mushrooms in a heatproof dish in a moderate oven or broil them. Season with salt and pepper.
