This is a good Shoofly Cake Recipe
1. Combine flour and brown sugar in a large bowl.
a. Cut in butter using a pastry blender to make crumbs.
b. Reserve 1 1/2 cups of the crumb mixture for topping.
2. Combine boiling water, molasses and baking soda in a medium bowl.
a. Add to crumb mixture.
3. Mix until batter is evenly mixed, but still lumpy.
4. Pour into a greased and floured 13X9 baking pan.
a. Sprinkle with reserved crumbs.
5. Bake at 350 for35-40 minutes.
