Suggest a better descriptionSpray crock pot with cooking spray. Add bell peppers, celery, all but 1/2 cup green onions, butter, seafood seasoning, bay leaves and red pepper. Cover and cook on low 4 hrs or high 2 hrs.
Turn crock pot to high. Add shrimp. Cover, cook 15 minutes longer. Meanwhile, bring water to boil in saucepan. Add grits and cook according to package.
Discard bay leaves from shrimp mixture. Stir in cheese, cream and remaining 1/2 green onions. Cook 5 mins longer or until cheese is melted. Serve over grits.
