Suggest a better description1. Cook bacon in a large nonstick skilled over medium-high heat until crisp. Remove bacon from pan, reserving 1 tablespoon drippings in pan. Crumble baacon, and set aside.
2. Add shrimp and garlic to drippings; saute 1 minute. Sdd broth; cook 2 minutes or just until shrimp are done. Se aside, and keep warm.
3. While shrimp cooks, bring 2 1/4 cups water to a boil in a medium saucepan; gradually add grits, stirring constantly. Reduce heat to low; simmer, covred 5 minutes or until thick, stirring occasionally. Sstir in cheese and next 4 ingredients. Cook until thoroughly heated, stirring occasionally.
4. Spoon grits mixture onto each of 4 plates; top evenly with shrimp. Sprinkle evenly with bacom and, if desired parsley.
Yield 4 servings (serving size 3/4 cup shrimp and 3/4 cup grits).
