Shrimp Etouffee we have for Christmas every year.
Saute shrimp in butter over medium heat. Remove from skillet and reserve liquid. Saute onion until clear in same liquid. Blend in flour until smooth. Add shrimp and remaining ingredients mixing well. Simmer covered for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Serve over rice. Serves 6-8
