Toss everything through dash of liquid smoke into crockpot. Cook on Hi 2 hours.
Taste test--add salt, pepper and hot sauce to taste. Cover and cook 1 hour longer.
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Soup will be ready when taste test works for you and onion is dissolving.
Dish into serving bowl. Add crushed chips (@ 1/2 c per bowl) on top of soup. Sprinkle vegan cheese over that.
Heat until cheese melts.
Sprinkle cilantro on top. Serve.
