the best bourbon pecan pie recipe ever
Blend sugar, eggs and salt until well blended.
Add corn syrup, butter and vanilla and whisk until light and frothy.
Toast pecans in a paper plate in the microwave until they smell nice and slightly brown.
Line the bottom of the crust with pecan halves, breaking up some to fill in spaces.
Mix bourban into corn syrup mixture and pour filling into the pies, pecans will float to the top.
Bake @ 350 degress for about an hour until firm.
