1. Add all the ingredients together and mix until well blended.
2. Let mixture stand for 10-30 mins.
3. Stir before using.
Adjust salt and sugar for either a savory or sweet batter.
Use a savory batter for seafood and onions.
May add a pinch of ground pepper to the savory batter.
