Put chicken broth, chicken and seasonings into large pot. Cover & cook over medium heat until chicken is done (about 45 minutes). Remove chicken from pot, let cool a bit and then cut into pieces. Return chicken to pot along with celery, carrots and noodles. Add at least 4 cups more chicken broth. Let cook until noodles are done (about 20 minutes). Serve.
OR - return chicken to pot along with celery, carrots and broth. Heat 20 minutes. Then add noodles and heat about 5 more minutes til noodles are tender.
Add remaining 4 cups chicken broth when saving leftovers.
