Simple lentil soup
In oil, brown onion well
Add lentils and stir fry for 10 - 15 seconds
Add water & cumin. when boilining turn heat to low, leave to simmer for around 20 - 25 mins or until lentils are well done.
Add lemon juice in last 5 mins cooking time.
Optional: With a hand mixer, puree the soup till creamy, & serve with brouton & a final pinch of ground cumin to taste.
