Preheat the oven to 400 degrees and line a rimmed backing sheet with foil. Spread the chopped tomatoes on the foil, sprinkle on the minced garlic, drizzle with the olive oil, and then add the salt and pepper. Place the tomatoes in the hot oven and roast for 15-20 minutes. While the tomatoes are cooking, cook you pasta al dente, according to package directions. In a large skillet cook the sausage until it is no longer pink. When the pasta and tomatoes are both done, add them both to the skillet with the sausage. Add the olive oil, salt, pepper, and basil. Stir until well combined. Serve right away with grated fresh Parmesan and more salt and pepper to taste.
