Suggest a better description1. Make sure bread is day old. Place torn bread on rimmed baking sheet & put into oven at 250F. Bake until hard about 1 hour & flip/stir occasionally. Twice? Butter a casserole dish .
2. Melt butter on med low heat & add chopped onions & celery & cook for around 8-10 min. Add to mix bowl along witjh dried out bread; stir in herbs, salt & pepper
3. Add broth and mix. Let cool before adding eggs & preheat oven to 350F
4. Fold in eggs & pour into buttered casserole dish. Cover w/ aluminum foil
5. Bake ~40min or until center is 160F
6. Remove foil & bake uncovered additional 40 min or until desired crispness.
NOTE— if cooking ahead bake covered & then bake uncovered ~50-60min day of.
