Mix 1 1/2 cups flour, sugar, salt, and yeast. Combine milk, water, and margarine and warm in microwave till very warm. Gradually add to dry ingredients and beat for 2 minutes at medium speed. Add 1/2 cup flour and beat on high speed for 2 minutes. Stir in enough additional flour to make a soft dough (up to 4 1/2 cups total for recipe). Turn out on lightly floured board andknead till smooth and elastic, about 5 miutes. Place in greased bowl. cover, place in warm water (98?) for 15 minutes. Form dough into 24 balls and place in greased muffin pans. Cover. Let rise in warm place for 15 minutes. Bake at 425? for 12 minutes. Remove from pans and cool on racks.
