Season with salt and pepper. Set aside in refrigerator until ready to use. For the mushrooms, place mushrooms in a bowl and add vinegar, oil, salt, and pepper. Toss well. Skewer 3 mushrooms apiece on medium-size skewers. Light coals or heat grill. Grill mushrooms for 2 or 3 minutes on each side. Serve warm with roasted garlic sauce. Serves six.
