1. Heat oil in large sauce pan over medium-high heat. Sauté onion and salt 8-10 minutes. Remove from pan.
2. In same pan, brown beef 8-10 minutes. Drain off fat and return beef and onion to pan.
3. Add Worcester sauce, ketchup, vinegar, lemon juice, sugar, and 1/2 cup water. Bring to a boil.
4. Multiple cooking methods
A. Reduce heat and simmer covered 50-60 minutes.
B. Simmer uncovered 15-20 minutes.
C. Put in slow cooker on low heat 4 hours.
5. Serve hot on buns with optional cheese.
