1) Brown meat in oil over medium heat.
2) Add green pepper and onion. Add tomato paste and spaghetti sauce. Simmer over low heat, covered, for one hour, stirring constantly.
3) Add brown sugar and continue to simmer. Add water if mixture becomes too thick.
4) Serve on hamburger buns.
Leftovers:
*Chili Fries = Bake frozen curly fries, then top with sloppy joes, onion, and shredded cheese.
*Cincinnati-style Spaghetti
*Nachos = Top tortilla chips with refried beans, sloppy joes, onions, corn, sour cream, and shredded cheese.
*Baked Potato = Top baked potatoes with sloppy joe, shredded cheese, and chives.
