Mix together chipotle seasoning and jalapenos.
in a sauce pan mix together all the barbecue sauce ingredients including the jalapeno and chipotle mixture. let simmer on low, stirring often.
place brisket on cutting service and cut against the grain lengthwise through the width of the brisket, to make two large thinner pieces. Coat the brisket on both sides of both pieces with the spice rub. Put both pieces back together and place in slower cooker on high. Cover and cook for 5 hours.
Once the brisket is fork tender, remove from crock-pot and place on a clean cutting service. Use two forks (or slice against the grain) to tear the meat into pieces removing excess fat and discarding it.
Add meat and sauce together. Stir until well mixed and serve.
Service on buns or by itself. Pairs great with coleslaw
