1. Combine all ingredients except cranberries in a 6 quart slow cooker.
2. Cover and cook on low heat for 6-8 hours or until porridge is thick and creamy.
3. Uncover and stir in cranberries.
I don't usually add salt to my porridge so I would definitely not add salt the next time. I would put raisins, cranberries, seeds and brown sugar on the side for anyone to add as much or as little as desired.
