This is a family friendly set it & forget it style meal with a great mix of herbs & subtle sweetness. I did have to make a few changes to the original recipe but hey everything can be improved.
In lg. mixing bowl, combine first 8 ingredients. Toss chicken in mix & place in slow cooker. Add potatoes & pour chicken broth, water & butter over top. Cover and cook on low 8-10 hours.
For crispier skin, just before you serve, fry chicken legs on all sides for a couple minutes (until desired crispiness/color are achieved) in a shallow frying pan with 3-4 TBSP of olive oil.
