Slow cooking melds flavors like no other cooking method. The chicken's internal temperature will be well above 180(F) and the meat will be so tender it literally falls off the bone.
Sprinkle hens with garlic pepper.
Place hens in 4- to 6-quart slow cooker (do not crowd).
Add onion to cooker.
Mix oregano and pepper flakes into pasta sauce; pour sauce over hens. Cover.
Cook on low setting 8 to 9 hours or until hens are tender and meat falls easily off bone.
Serving Suggestion: Serve hens and sauce with hot cooked angel hair pasta and tossed salad. Refrigerate leftovers.
