Freezes Great. Makes the house smell great!
Mix beer and soup mix. Pour over turkey and cook in the oven at 225 degrees for 12-14 hours. Debone, shred turkey. Put meat and juices in crockpot. Can cook add day and night in the crockpot.
I actually like to use 2 cans of beer and onion soup mix and bake in the oven. Also, I like to put into the oven overnight. Then I let the turkey cool when done, debone and I like to get rid of all of the juice, it sometimes turns a bit dark and then I get rid of all of the grease rather than needing to separate the grease off. Then I put in the slow cooker with 2 cans of beer and onion soup mix. When complete I put into a number of containers to freeze for quick easy meals.
