Suggest a better descriptionPrep and set up your smoker for 225 degree indirect smoking . Rub the wings generously with the seasoning. Smoke the wings for 1 hour and remove from smoker. While the wings are on the smoker, combine 1 1/2 cups of the Frank's sauce, the beer, and 3/4 stick of butter in a saucepan on medium high heat. Bring to a boil and then reduce to a simmer and cook for 20 to 30 minutes or until slightly thickened. Place wings in a large mixing bowl and toss them in the beer and Frank's sauce. Set up your gas or charcoal grill for direct grilling at a temp of 425 degrees. Place the wings on the grate of your hot grill. Turn frequently and cook until they have dark grill marks and a crispy exterior or the internal temp reaches 175 degrees - about 10-15 minutes. While you are grilling the wings, combine the remaining Frank's sauce and butter in a saucepan and warm until the butter melts and is well combined - add more sauce or butter to balance the flavor to your liking. Remove the wings from the grill and place on a serving tray with ranch and/or blue cheese dressing and celery stalks. Drizzly the sauce over the wings and serve!
