Start the lentils according to package directions but use the chicken broth instead of water. In a skillet brown the ground beef. Season with the garlic, salt and pepper. Once the ground beef is browned and thoroughly cooked drain off all fat and add to the letils. Then add all of the remaining ingredients and cook until the onions are clear. Your lentils should be ready by then too. Enjoy!
