Suggest a better descriptionMix butter and shortening. Beat in sugar, eggs and vanilla. Sift together flour, cream of tarter, baking soda and salt. Mix flour with butter mixture. Shape rounded teaspoons of dough into balls. Roll balls in cinnamon mixture: 4 tablespoons sugar and 2 tablespoons.
Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake in 375 deg oven for 8-10 mins or until golden brown. Cool on rack.
