My favorite cookie of all time!
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Mix the 1 1/2 cups sugar, butter, shortening and eggs. Stir in flour, cream of tartar, baking soda and salt. Shape into balls and roll into remaining cinnamon and sugar. Bake 8 to 10 minutes.
