Heat oven to 400.
Mix sugar, butter, and shortening until smooth. Add eggs.
Stir flour, and other dry ingredients together. Add to butter mixture.
Shape into 1" balls and roll in the mixture of 3 T sugar, 3 tsp. cinnamon. Place balls on a parchment lined baking sheet and bake for 12-14 minutes or until set. Do not overbake!
Dough may be refrigerated for up to 7 days if covered well.
