Suggest a better descriptionHeat oven to 400 degrees. Mix shortening, 1 1/2 cups sugar and eggs thoroughly. Measure flour by sifting. Blend flour, cream of tartar, soda and salt. Shape dough in 1 inch balls. Roll in mixture of 2 TBS sugar and cinnamon. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheet. Bake 8-10 minutes. Makes 3-6 dozen.
